Email is the only way to reach us, and it goes to a person.

There is no contact form on this site, and that is deliberate. A form means storing your name and message somewhere, which means another service holding your data and another paragraph in the privacy policy. Email does the same job without any of that.

What gets answered fastest

• A price that has gone stale or wrong. This is the most useful mail we get. Include the article and what the vendor's page says now. Corrections get made and the check date on the article gets updated.
• A tool we missed. Especially one that is working well in a small shop and is not on anybody's list.
• "You got this wrong." Genuinely welcome. If we called a tool a poor fit and you have run it for three years without complaint, that is worth knowing.

Vendors and PR

You are welcome to write in with a correction about your own product, and factual errors get fixed regardless of who reports them. What is not available: paid placement, sponsored posts, guest posts, link insertions, or a preview of an article before it runs. Those pitches will not get a reply.

Response time

This site is written by one person alongside other work. Most mail gets an answer within a few days. Corrections get acted on faster than they get replied to, so if you flag a bad number you may see the article change before you hear back.
